Because of the COVID-19 outbreak, everyday life has changed and will continue to change for most people in the United States, often with little notice. People may struggle with changes to their routines (e.g., schools and child care closures, social distancing, home confinement), which may interfere with their sense of structure, predictability, and security.

Social distancing means that many of us don’t have the interaction with the teachers, after-school counselors, coaches or other adults that we usually communicate and rely on.

We are here to listen to you. Whether that be for advice, support or friendly conversation. We want to make sure that you are heard. Conversations will be private unless we legally have to pass on information. More information about that is below.

Is NOT a licensed psychologist/counselor/psychiatrist

There is more information about who you are talking to below but this person is not a doctor and cannot and will not prescribe medical or psychological treatment.

Is a mandated reporter

This means any information you disclose to us will be reported if we have reasonable cause to suspect that anyone is threatening to hurt yourself or others, a victim of child abuse or a victim of elderly abuse.

Will save ALL conversations

We will never pass on any conversations unless legally required but all conversations are saved in a database.

Is a real person

You will never be speaking to an automated chat box. The name in the chat box is the person’s real name. This person may change depending on days and time. You can request to talk to someone you have before.
